Botanical Ornament

Time: 2 minutes
Materials: clear ornament, dried plants, ribbon

That’s right, this project only takes 2 minutes!  I used dried cedar and berries from my previous wreath DIY, but you can forage your plants from outside or even take some clippings from your tree.

Just add your plants to a clear ornament, arrange with tweezers if necessary. Much less hassle than the ornament terrariums I made last year, but the same impact!

If you follow me on Instagram, you might remember the ornament making craft day I had with some lovely bloggers (Mere, Lauren, Melissa, Emily, Camille). I thought I’d share some photos of the event to help get you in the DIY ornament spirit!

Lauren, our gracious host, made this beauty by filling a clear ornament with paint and glittering the outside, because what is Christmas without a little glitter?!

I’d love to hear about the ornaments on your tree! Are any of them handmade?
