California Dreaming Playlist

California Dreaming PlaylistAfter tax season, who else needs a spring break?! I am thankfully taking off for LA tomorrow to work on a top secret project! For the past 4 years I’ve made the same trip to tie in with Craftcation. I’ll be speaking again this year, so if you’ll also be there, say hello! Or better yet, let’s drink a cocktail on the beach.

Before I head out, I thought I’d share a dreamy California mix. So even if you won’t be attending the conference this year, you can still get some serious west coast vibes. Pop on over to Spotify to listen or just hit play below!

Love is Love: Valentine’s Day Playlist

Love is Love: Valentine's Day PlaylistI’ve said it before, and I’ll say it a million times over– the world could always use more love. Any and all kinds. Because love is love is love. And what type of Valentine’s Day enthusiast would I be if I let the holiday go by without a fun little playlist?! These are just a few of my all time favorite love songs. Whether you’re single or spending this year with your partner, I hope this playlist will bring a smile to your face.

Feel free to listen on this post, or head over to Spotify to follow along!

And if you’re feeling a little bitter about romance this Valentine’s Day, here’s a breakup playlist that might help!

Merry Christmas Playlist

Merry Christmas Playlist
I think like a lot of people this year, I’m counting on Christmas to be the saving grace of 2016. It’s been an emotionally heavy year and I think we could all use some extra cheer. And if you waited until after Thanksgiving to move full force into holiday mode like I did, that means there’s a lot to pack into the next three weeks. Bring on the egg nog, gift wrap, lights, and music please!

Here’s a fun playlist of some of my Christmas favorites. You can listen over on Spotify or here on the blog:

The Ultimate Breakup Playlist

The Ultimate Breakup PlaylistWe’ve all been there. The dreaded breakup. No matter who calls it of, they are always painful and such a mess. It’s been a year since my six year relationship ended and music played such a large role in helping me move on. Welllll that and a few Tinder dates of course.

I got the idea for this playlist when I was at karaoke a few weeks ago, because all of my good ideas happen when I’m at karaoke (shoutout to my good friend whiskey). This amazing woman started singing ‘It’s All Coming Back to Me’ and all of the ladies in the audience sang along at the top of their lungs, myself included.

I knew a playlist needed to be made to channel that feeling and energy. One that was less about looking back and being sad and more about being strong and moving the fuck on. Because really, you’ve got bigger and better things to do than sit around and cry over someone who doesn’t deserve you. Go on and get it girl.

Listen on Spotify or scroll down and just click play!

PS sadly this playlist was limited to songs that are on Spotify otherwise Sorry by Beyonce would have been included.
