DIY Paper Wrapped Bangles
I love fancy paper. So much so that I would have one of those stationery walls in my house if I could (but then again, who wouldn’t want that?!). Instead of letting the paper sit around rolled up in a basket by your desk, why not wear it with you everywhere you go?! Here’s how you can make some paper wrapped bangles for yourself and everyone you know:
Time: 25 minutes
Materials: bangles, paper, decoupage, scissors, brush
I stand by the fact that Martha Stewart’s decoupage is the best (and nope, this isn’t sponsored). The paper I found at Paper Source, but you could use almost any decorative paper as long as it’s not too thick. It helps if the pattern on the paper is small since the bangle surface isn’t that large.
Next apply a layer of decoupage to the bangle, wrap your paper strip around and seal with another layer of decoupage. It helps to smooth the paper with your thumb to avoid any wrinkles. The placement of the first few strips is key so try to get them as straight as possible. Keep going and adding paper until your bangle is completely covered.
Fingers crossed this gets me one step closer is being able to dress as cool as Iris.
