Time: 30 minutes
Materials: Copper leaf, glitter, mod podge, tape, thumbtacks, brushes
After dipping my clipboards in glitter and covering my desk clock in copper leaf, I knew it was only a matter of time before I came up with a hybrid. (I promise this is my last glitter project for a while!)
The steps to this are fairly simple and similar to the other glitter projects that I’ve done. Start by covering your tacks with the copper leaf then let dry. Section off the area you want to glitter with tape and apply mod podge. Pour on your glitter while glue is still wet, shake off excess glitter, seal again with mod podge, and let dry.
Overall I’d say this project was a little more time consuming than I expected. I suggest working with finer grain glitter (pictured above) since the overall surface area is small.
