DIY Wooden Hanger Makeover

DIY Wooden Hanger MakeoverHello Color will officially be released into the world tomorrow! TOMORROW! To celebrate, and to hopefully get you just as excited as I am, I thought that I would share one of my favorite projects from the book– a wooden hanger makeover. This project is oh so simple to do but the results make a big impact.

Temporary tattoos! That’s right, they’re not just for kids (or for skin!). They may seem like a simple detail, but it’s one that will make you smile on the days you decide to skip the sweatpants and dress up instead. Here’s how: Continue reading…

DIY Botanical Facial Steam

DIY Botanical Facial SteamI love winter as much as the next person. Snow days, cute scarfs, hot cocoa, all great. But one aspect that tends to be a bit more unfavorable is the dry winter air. 10 Minutes or Less: Valentine’s Day Notebooks

Valentine's Day NotebooksToday is February 1st which means I can finally go full force into Valentine’s Day. Next to Christmas, this is my favorite holiday to DIY for because everything is pink, red, and covered in hearts. Plus, the world is in desperate need of some extra love right now, so why not start with some crafts?

This project is so easy it’s ridiculous. Like, you couldn’t even mess it up after a bottle or two of wine (not that I’m speaking from experience or anything). Here’s how:

Time: 2 minutes
Materials: notebooks, stickers, pencil/ruler

DIY Temporary Tattoo Mugs

Make these DIY Temporary Tattoo Mugs in less than 10 minutes! If there’s one DIY technique I fell in love with this year, it’s working with temporary tattoos. With so many cute designs out there, it’s possibly the easiest way to add a fun design to common items, especially if you’re not an artist. Instead of hand painting mugs, and being bummed with the results, I added a temporary tattoo and was done with the project in under ten minutes. So if you are looking for the perfect last minute holiday gift– this is it! Here’s how:

Time: 10 minutes
Materials: mugs, temporary tattoos, decoupage, brush, sponge
