6 Zesty Citrus Cocktails for Spring

6 Zesty Citrus Cocktails for SpringWhile on driving up and down the 101 on my recent road trip, I passed a surprisingly fair amount of open back trucks full of lemons and oranges. If they would have been parked, it would have been an Instagram dream true, let me tell you! Even though I’m back in Oregon now, I can’t stop thinking about those colors and smells.

Plus citrus seems to be in just about every recipe popping up on Pinterest right now, don’t you think? And since I’m no chef, the only other way to make sure I’m taking in the doctor recommended amount of fruit is with these 6 must-try citrus cocktails. Trust me, totallyyy healthy.

Spiked Rose Lemonade

How to Make Spiked Rose Lemonade

Happy Friday! If you’re looking for a delicious cocktail to sip on this weekend while you craft, look no further than spiked rose lemonade! On top of being the easiest drink to make, it’s also light, bubbly, and pink. The fermented lemonade has ginger and rose extracts which is great for masking the vodka taste without being too sweet. Just a warning, after one or two of these, you may just start to think you’re Martha Stewart ;)

How to Make Spiked Rose Lemonade

– 1-1.5 shots of vodka
– 4.5 fl oz. of Fentiman’s rose lemonade (it’s carbonated!)
– lemon
– ice

FIll glass with 4-5 ice cubes, then pour in your shot(s) of vodka.  Add chilled rose lemonade until glass is full. Top off with a squeeze of lemon then stir lightly. You can use a lemon wedge or shredded ginger to garnish. Cheers!
