Workshop: Instagram for Business

Instagram for BusinessIt’s been a while, too long really, since I’ve taught any workshops which is why I’m teaming up with my girl Ink + Mortar to be a part of her back to school class series! If you live in the Philadelphia area and are looking to up your Instagram game for your business, I hope that you’ll attend. Other than wine, here’s a bit more about what you can expect:

Take your Instagram to the next level with this workshop specifically designed for business owners. We’ll cover everything branding to partnerships, scheduling to strategy, and all the other helpful tidbits in between. There are only 8 seats for a more intimate setting, so grab your ticket while you can!

ATTEND THIS CLASS AND LEAVE WITH

– An optimized business profile

10 Hilarious Instagram Accounts to Follow

10 Hilarious Instagram Accounts to FollowSomehow it’s Monday again. Why all weeks can’t be four days is beyond me. I’m sure we could all use a bit of comedic relief today (and everyday, right?) so I’ve put together ten of my favorite funny Instagram accounts that you should follow asap. Because it’s nice to get a laugh in while you’re scrolling through endless pictures of sunsets, macarons and flowers.

PS if you have any recommendations for accounts you think should be added to the list, leave them in the comments!

DIY Color Blocked Instagram Ornaments

Make these colorful Instagram ornaments for your tree in less than one hour! One of my favorite things about the end of year is that it’s a time to reflect on everything that’s happened. And what better way to keep those memories alive than by turning them into ornaments you can hang up year after year? If you’re looking to add a personal touch to your tree, then you’ll want to make these color blocked instagram ornaments asap! Here’s how:

Time: 45 minutes + dry time
Materials: wood polaroid frames, photos, Americana Decor Maxx Gloss Paint, multi-purpose sealer, tape, tacky glue, hot glue, gold cord, brush

Make these colorful Instagram ornaments for your tree in less than one hour!I used Americana Decor Maxx Gloss paint (you can find at Michael’s, Home Depot, Joann’s, and Meijers). Because it applies so smoothly, you really only need one coat.

Make these colorful Instagram ornaments for your tree in less than one hour!Coat your frames with sealer and let dry. Tape off at an angle and paint. Peel the tape and let dry again.  On the back, apply a thin layer of tacky glue all the way around the frame and place on your photo. Let glue dry overnight.

With an X-Acto knife, trim the excess photo. To attach a hook, cut about 5 inches of cord, loop, and then secure with a dap of hot glue. Once completely dry, your ornaments are ready to hang!

You can also write the date and place on the back so that years down the road you wont forget where the photo was taken. They also make the perfect handmade gift if you’re still thinking about what to make your loved ones!
