DIY Rhinestone Flats

Add some sparkle to your shoes with this easy diy rhinestone flats tutorial!Well if didn’t think you could pull off wearing rhinestones in your hair or in your ears, there’s no way you don’t be able to wear today’s project, diy rhinestone flats! In one easy step you can take a cheap pair of shoes and transform them into something that looks like it cost you so much more. And the best part is that they take less than a half hour to make. Here’s how:

Time: 20 minutes + dry time
Materials: flats, rhinestones, E-6000 glue, skewer or toothpick

You might also want to place your design on your shoe to see if it fits.

Once you have your design picked out, you’ll want to mark where to place your stones so that they’re even on both shoes. A small dot with a piece of chalk should do it. Apply a bit of E-6000 glue to the back of your rhinestone with a skewer or toothpick and set in place. Continue until your design is set.

Let dry for 24 hours and then you’re ready to wear your new shoes out on the town!

DIY Rhinestone Earrings

Update your wardrobe in a half hour with these diy rhinestone earrings!So I totally have a thing for rhinestones. Any color, any size, and on any surface, you name it. I can’t get enough! After making these clips to go in my hair, I decided to use the leftovers to make some earrings. Because you can never have too many fun accessories, right? Here’s how:

Time: 30 minutes
Materials: rhinestones, E-6000 glue, earring posts, scissors, felt or plastic backing

Update your wardrobe in a half hour with these diy rhinestone earrings!I personally like the pop of yellow on the side of my earrings (from the felt), but if you don’t, use clear plastic instead for your backing. It doesn’t have to be fancy, any scrap piece will do.
