Well friends, we are less than a month away from Hello Color’s launch date! Because I can’t wait any long to show you this project, and because I’m sure those of you who pre-ordered can’t wait either, I thought it would be fun to share a look inside today.
I poured my heart and soul and quite a bit of tears into this book (mostly because I wrote, styled, and photographed the whole thing), but I’m so proud of the end results and think it’s a useful book that you’ll love. The Projects
The book is broken down by room– living room, bedroom, kitchen, etc and each chapter has colorful DIYS that anyone can make! Most projects can be done within 30 minutes so that adding and experimenting with color is easier than ever. These are brand new projects that haven’t been featured anywhere, not even on my blog, and I can’t wait for you to see them!
Photography Tips
Because if your home is beautifully decorated, but you don’t Instagram it, is it even real? Well duh, it is, but why not brag a little with gorgeous photos?! I share my inside tips and tricks for getting the best photos out of your home, even if you’re a beginner photographer.
Color Theory
From brights & bolds, to neutrals and pastels, I also give you tips on how to create and pair colors together for decorating. So whether you’re looking to dip a toe in the color pool or dive in the deep in head first, there’s a perfect palette out there waiting for you!
Art Work
One of my favorite aspects of the book is that in the back there is art work that you can tear out to create an instant gallery wall! I’ll be sharing more about the artist that collaborated with me on it and showing you a sneak peek of the art itself next week!
