Two weeks ago, I traveled to Austin, TX to attend my best friend’s wedding. During my trip, I was fortunate enough to team up with Becky of The Pink Samurai and host a bead decorating workshop. I met Becky through Twitter a while back and we became instant friends. That’s right– we planned an entire workshop without ever meeting in person first. The internet is seriously amazing!
First and foremost, we are so thankful to all of the makers who contributed to our amazing goodie bags! Here’s what everyone got:
– The Burlap Bag not only hosted us in their fantastic shop, but they also donated one of their candles to everyone.
– Nail polish from Julep in the prettiest shades
– Adorable hand-printed gift tags from Lauren Kiedaisch
– The coolest temporary tattoos from Little Skunk Co
– Gorgeous illustrated postcards by Jenni Haikonen of Bottomley Cottage
– Amazingly fun prints from Tiny Deer Studio
– Becky also donated the cutest buttons ever– OMG CAKE and Food Love
I also want to thank Deco Art for supplying such lovely paint and Briley Noel for taking the photos!
The brilliant ladies from 2 Tarts Bakery also came with treats. I’m talking homemade pop tarts and the fluffiest pink icing ever– the kind that you’d consider moving to Texas for.
I can’t begin to express what a great time I had with this workshop. Thank you SO much to all the kind and creative ladies that came out to craft together! Your necklaces and keychains were all amazing and I hope we can do this again sometime.
For all of those who couldn’t make it to the event, be sure to come back tomorrow because I’ll be sharing my tips and tricks for painting wooden beads!
