It’s no secret that I love pink, but there’s one shade in particular that’s caught my heart recently and that’s Millennial Pink. Though I don’t think the name is the greatest (I actually kinda hate it), my goodness, that color! It’s perfect for weaving into your decor because it packs a color punch while still being subtle. It almost even functions as a neutral if you ask me, and you should, because really, how is this not better than boring beige?
If you haven’t found a way to incorporate this year’s ‘it’ color into your home, there are ways to do it without feeling like you live in Barbie’s playhouse. From big wall changes, to small decor details, there’s always a place for more pink. And here are just a few ideas to get you brainstorming!

Go Bold
This is if you just can’t get enough of this color. You saw it, instantly fell in love with it, and now you want to get married and live with it forever. In home decor terms, that’s basically just painting a wall or even bringing tile into the mix. I am alllll about this approach– the more pink the better.
When using this much pink, your home is bound to be eye-catching, no matter what room you decide to use it in. Plus, think of all the Instagram photos that are going to come from this. Even though it’s a pain, you can always paint over a wall if you decide you hate it, so why not give it a try?

Renter Friendly
Loving on that pink, but want some easy and renter friendly ways to work it in? Instead of coloring your walls, try painting a large piece of statement furniture! You can even mix up your bookshelf a bit by adding a pop of color to the back. A large area rug is also a great way to weave in pink without having to commit to any structural changes.

Ease Into It
Still not sure about mixing pink into your decor? I’m not sure that I understand, but hey, the good news is that you can totally start small! A great way to test out a color is to mix it in with those low risk pieces, like linens or even artwork. Maybe you even include a pink chair or two into your dining set just to test it out. Consider ordering items online that are returnable so that you can get a sense for how the color mixes with the pieces you already own.
I’d love to know– millennial pink; love it or hate it? Do you already have these pieces in your home or would it be the last color you’d ever use to decorate?
