Materials: plastic floss bobbins, spray paint, baker’s twine, scissors
Fact: an awesome goodie bag can make any party 10 times better. For your next get-together try including a handmade favor to really wow your guests. These baker’s twine party favors take less than 20 minutes to make and cost about $.50 a piece, making them perfect for the hostess on a time and budget crunch! Â And let’s be honest, who doesn’t love receiving free craft supplies?
Before starting, I recommend painting your bobbins to match your party theme. They’re originally white, so you can paint them any color you want without having to prime the surface or do multiple coats. If you’d like the paint to be extra durable, seal with a layer of Mod Podge.
All you do it wrap your baker’s twine on the bobbin as you would embroidery floss. Secure in the slit, snip the excess twine, then get back to planning the rest of your party!
PS Thank you SO much for all your kind words about the redesign, you guys are so sweet! If you haven’t entered the celebratory giveaway yet, don’t worry, there’s still time. A $50 gift certificate to Darby Smart was just added, so enter now!
