The time is finally here! It’s time to decorate for Christmas, y’all! If you’re looking to go beyond the tree and give your walls some love, then you’ll absolutely want to make this ornament wall confetti. It’s fun AND completely renter friendly. Win-win my friends! Here’s how:
Time: 45 minutes
Materials: Duck® holiday tape, Duck® glitter tape, cardboard, circle cutter, scissors
I used a mix of Duck® Tape and glitter tape for the ornaments. They come in a variety of patterns and colors so you can customize it to match your other holiday decor!
Start by cutting out a circle out of your cardboard. This circle cutter will allow you to adjust the size of the ornaments (mine were done on the smallest setting).
Next, cover with tape. Trim the excess with scissors. You’ll follow the same steps to make the bulb topper, just cut your cardboard in the shape of a trapezoid. And if you want to add a hook, you can either cut one out of construction paper (what I did) or use floral wire.
Add a bit of Duck® washi to the back to hang on the wall and you’re done! I chose to hang mine in the shape of a tree, but how cool would an entire wall of these look?! You could even use these to spell out a word (like Merry, X-Mas, etc) if you really wanted to be ambitious.
PS how cute is my dad’s dog?! These ornaments make the perfect backdrop for a Christmas card photo, don’t you think?
