10 Minutes or Less: DIY Pom-Pom Shoe Clips
As much as I love getting a new pair of shoes, and I do mean LOVE, I don’t always have the budget to match my addiction. Instead of just growing tired of the pairs I currently have in my closet, I made some pom-pom shoe clips so I can mix it up from time to time! You can make these in a variety of colors to swap them out for any occasion or outfit. And the best part is that it only takes 10 minutes (and less than $5) to make a set! Here’s how:
Cut a long strip of tulle, about a yard in length and about 2 inches wide. You’ll also need a shorter piece that’s about 5 inches long and one inch wide. To make your pom, wrap the long piece of tulle around your fingers 10 times and slide off, holding the shape in place. Tie a double knot around the center with your smaller piece of tulle. Snip the ends with scissors to shape, making sure not to cut the center knot.
You can then slide the shoe clip under the center knot you tied previously. No need for glue or dry time! Easy, peasy, and you’re done!
The easiest way to add a bit of flair to your wardrobe, don’t you think? Unfortunately these red shoes are out of stock, but here’s a similar pair if you’re looking to recreate this look!
