Maker Spotlight

This past weekend I was lucky enough to be in Seattle for Urban Craft Uprising. If you’re not familiar, UCU is Seattle’s largest indie craft show. They have two shows a year, one in the summer, and one in the winter (coming up in December). I was completely blown away by all the vendors there and would highly recommend catching the second show later this year if you can!

Here are just a few of my favorites:

Maker Spotlight: Abacus Row JewelryAbacus Row— based in San Francisco, CA.  Each piece of jewelry is versatile, unique, and gorgeously crafted. If I had unlimited budget, I would have bought everything right then and there!

Maker Spotlight: Herbivore Botanicals Herbivore Botanicals— based in Seattle, WA.  Made with 100% natural minerals and plant oil, this is skin care 2.0. And that packaging, swoon-worthy, right?!

Maker Spotlight: Gary Bodker Designs

Gary Bodker Designs— based in Portland, OR. Absolutely stunning handblown glass pieces ranging from votive holders, to vases, to lamps. The perfect balance of clean lines and vibrant colors.
