Hello and happy Monday! If you were following along to my Instagram last weekend, you probably saw that I attended the Michael’s Maker Summit in Sonoma. Well today I am ready to dish on alllll the details!
For the next year I’ll be participating in the Michael’s Maker program. Basically each month I, along with 50 other awesome bloggers (see them all here), will be creating unique DIYS based around a specific theme. The summit was a way to kickoff the program, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
While there, we took four amazing classes (weaving, watercolor, paper flowers and image transfer) – all taught by Mchaels education partner, Creativebug. And a bit of great news for all of you– each of the classes are available online for FREE on Michaels.com until 8/22 (you can re-create one or all of our summit projects)!
I was personally blown away by the image transfer class, as well as watercoloring, so you may see those techniques pop up in a few projects in the future.
I’m so excited to share my projects with you all for the next year! And if you try any of the Creativebug classes, I’d love to hear what you think/if you have a favorite!
