To keep up with my goal of hosting more workshops this year, I’ll be traveling to Texas in a few weeks to host a bead decorating workshop at The Burlap Bag along side of Becky from The Pink Samurai. We’ll be painting beads to make necklaces and key fobs until our heart’s content! There will also be snacks from 2 Tarts Bakery and rad goodie bags for everyone. It’s going to be a blast!
EXCITING NEWS! I’ll be speaking at Craftcation 2015! For those of you who aren’t familiar with the conference, it’s four awesome days of hands-on food and craft workshops + creative business classes. Oh yes, and it’s right on the beach!
Early bird registrations opens tomorrow, September 17th, at 9:00am PST and the first fifty people get $45 off. You can get your tickets here.
In case you missed it, here’s my recap from last year. This is such a dream of mine (seriously, someone pinch me) so I hope to see you there!
I am SO excited to finally be sharing the photos from mine and Hello Lidy‘s West Elm workshop that took place last weekend! It was the first workshop I’ve ever hosted and I don’t think it could have gone any better.
First and foremost, the West Elm LA space is gorgeous. What a treat it was to use their furniture and decor for the workshop and as a backdrop! If you happen to live in the area, or are just visiting, do yourself a favor and stop by. The entire staff is so friendly and kind, you will absolutely be in good hands.
What is crafting on a Sunday without a little mimosas bar? Also, how darling are those market pitchers?
Everyone so hard at work! I’ll be sharing the full tutorial and a fun video on Wednesday, so be sure to come back for that.
The happiest moment for me (aside from meeting everyone!) was watching people try on their completed crowns. They all came out so unique and stunning, I was completely blown away.
If you’d like to see more photos from the event, including some great photo booth shots, you can find them here!
A big thank you to everyone who came out and to West Elm LA for hosting us. I cannot wait to do it again! PS If you’d like me to come to your city, I’d love to hear from you– just leave a comment below.
Hello Lidy and I have teamed up with West Elm LA to teach a fresh flower crown workshop on June 8th (talk about a dream, right?!). Each student will be making a complete and wearable flower crown with fresh blooms. We’ll also have a mimosa bar, snacks, photo booth, and best of all, goodie bags.
