Time: 20 minutes
Materials: box, paint, brush. scissors, wood tape
Okay, so. I found this amazing self adhesive wood tape about a year ago, but haven’t been able to use it in any projects until now. After typing that sentence, it seems that I may or may not be a hoarder of craft supplies. Alright, so I am. But not to worry, it’s allllll a part of the job.
Since Father’s day is next weekend, why not put some extra thought into the outside of his gift as well? It really takes no time at all to customize a cheap gift box. Here’s how I gave mine a makeover:
Paint the outside of your box and let dry. You can even write a message to your dad on the inside of the lid if you don’t want to get a card. Cut your wood tape into triangles, or whatever shape you prefer. Peel the back off the tape and stick on your box. It really couldn’t get any easier than that!
Fill with colored tissue wrap, confetti, and anything you dad would like!
