Today’s travel guide is a little special because it’s a trip that I recently took with my boyfriend (OMG BOYFRIEND!). He lives in NYC and I’m in Philly, so the goal was to go somewhere within a 3-4 hour driving radius. Realizing that I had never been anywhere in New York except the city, we settled on the Hudson Valley for a fun little weekend getaway.
After a friend recommended the Hasbrouck House in Stone Ridge, I knew we had to stay there! The property is an 18th century Dutch Colonial stone mansion that was made into possibly the world’s most adorable inn. On site they had a pool (the original single pour concrete pool!), game room, hammocks, restaurant, and a more casual eatery/bar where you could grab burgers and milkshakes and sit outside.
