2020 aka the year where it’s hard to be optimistic. For a quick recap of events around here: Ryan and I had to post-pone our wedding, we both had COVID (and still have long-term effects), business is down across the board, and yet we’re still so very lucky.
On a day like Thanksgiving, it’s good to take note of all the things we have to be thankful for. And this year especially, I am thankful for you. My shop opened this year in April, and while it arguably is the worst time for it to have opened, it’s been a hit because of you. I’ve been able to pay my bills because of you. You are the very reason my business still exists. I’m not sure how I can ever repay you for the support you’ve shown me over the years, and how much it saved me this year alone, but I hope that one day I can.
I know it’s hard not to be with loved ones on a day typically filled with tradition and family. And I know that this year has already taken so much from so many of us. But I hope that you’ll find a little time in your day for a bit of joy, whatever that may be.
Stay safe, stay healthy, and a very happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
