Let’s talk about one of my favorite pieces from our wedding: my confetti veil! This was the first thing I bought when we got engaged and I would buy it a hundred times over again. Of all the things I wore that day, it’s the one that I’ll remember the most. I mean, who can forget a statement piece?! Here’s everything you need to know about my confetti veil:

The internet truly can be a beautiful thing sometimes. I know there are a lot of cookie cutter weddings out there, which is fine if that’s what brings you joy, but I was looking for something a bit more. It just wasn’t the mold for me.
I found the UK company Crown and Glory through Rock n Roll Bride. If you’re looking to have any type of alternative wedding, and want to miss all the pre-wedding diet bullshit, be sure to check out Rock n Roll Bride for inspiration!
Details About the Confetti Veil
I wore the cathedral length version of the disco dreams metallic polka dot veil. So it went from the top of my head, all the way down to the ground (for reference, I’m 5’9″). My dress had a small train so it was the perfect similar length. The veil also comes in fingertip and chapel lengths so you can adjust it based on the length of your own dress.
For the fascinator, it was a simple hair comb clip. We didn’t need anything else to secure it in place besides what it came with. I do have thick hair, so if you’re concerned about it staying in place, bring the veil with you when you do your hair trial so the stylist can play around with options for you.
I wore the veil for the ceremony and to take a majority of our photos with. While I considered wearing a colorful dress for the ceremony, because of the cost, and the limited sizes of dresses in my size, having the confetti veil was the next best thing.
A fun veil is a great way to bring in a little color to your wedding day without having to get a colorful dress. A veil can actually be the show stopper for your look, and for a fraction of the cost. 10/10 highly recommend going for the statement veil instead of splurging on a dress!
I actually used the veil as a jumping off point for the design of the wedding. You can see how the polka dots were mirrored with our DIY confetti wedding programs. More about our stationery coming very soon!
And that’s the veil! Let me know if you have any questions!
