DIY Heart PlanterValentine’s day is next week guys NEXT WEEK! If you’re still on the hunt for the perfect gift, or if you’re just browsing for some decor ideas, you can’t go wrong with this DIY heart planter. It takes less than a half hour to make and can 10000% be done while enjoying a glass of wine. Trust me. When you’re done, pair it with a copy of Everything Grows with Love and you have an instant heartfelt gift + a new bright corner in your home! That’s right, it’s so cute you’re going to want to make two. Here’s how:

DIY Heart PlanterTime: 20 minutes

Materials:
– Vinyl
– Heart punch
– Planter

I’m telling you that this project couldn’t be any easier. Using the heart punch, cut out enough shapes to cover your planter. I kept mine simple with two rows of hearts, but you could add and many as you want! You could also skip this step and just use stickers, but the nice thing about working with vinyl is that it’s removable and doesn’t leave behind gross residue if you need to reposition your hearts. And you can wipe your planter clean with a damp cloth and it won’t cause any damage.

DIY Heart PlanterEverything Grows with Love from Flow Magazine is the perfect pairing for your heart planter because hello– what a fun plant pun! It’s the cutest little book full of illustrated quotes of love from about 20 different artists. Not all the quotes are romantic, so you could really get it for any person in your life. And since it’s under $10, you could even use it as the card. Seriously such a steal!

DIY Heart PlanterOnce all of your hearts are punched, peel the back off the vinyl and apply to your planter. And just like that you’re done!
