It will look (and taste) like you put hours into your gift, but in reality it will only take a few minutes. A taste of handmade without the struggle, what’s not to love about that?! Here’s how:

– Full sheet label paper

Circle cutter*
– Cutting mat
Round tin
Cheryl Cookies
– Waxed tissue paper

*You can  use scissors on this cookie tin free printable as well. You may just get cleaner, faster cuts with a circle cutter.

You can print this label at home, or head to any print shop and they can do it for you. Just make sure that the type of label paper you use aligns with the type of ink the printer uses. I went to Staples; they sold the paper needed on site (inkjet).

Using a circle cutter, cut the paper to fit your cookie tin to size. You can of course use scissors, but the circle cutter will give you a much smoother finish. Remove the backing from the label paper and stick in place.

DIY COOKIE TIN FREE PRINTABLE From there, fill your tins with cookies and bring to any holiday gathering for your host! To add an extra bit of Christmas cheer, used patterned waxed tissue paper to help build layers between cookies, especially if using multiple flavors. That’s all there is to it!

If you’re hosting instead of visiting this year, you can also make these tins for your guests to fill with cookies as a souvenir. Either way there will be cookies and everyone will be happy!
