Happy Monday from Kentucky! I’m here visiting my family for the next few weeks, but wanted to share this fun ornament wreath I made before I left! I’ve admired this project from Martha Stewart for ages but always kept it on the back burner for whatever reason. Even though I’m totally obsessed with how it looks (seriously how magical are vintage bulbs), I think the initial cost of the ornaments was a turn off for me.

When I saw Studio DIY’s version, I knew this was a project I’d had to have in my home. So when I came across some affordable colorful ornaments, I decided to do my own cheaper, rainbow version. Here’s how it turned out:

DIY Instax + Tinsel Wreath

One of my favorite parts about traveling is taking photos. Since I never want to lug my DSLR camera with me, I usually toss an instant camera in my bag and hit the town. Now that the year is coming to a close, I thought it would be fun to weave my collection into my holiday decor. Because honestly, what is Christmas without a little sparkle and fun?! Here’s how:

Time: 10 minutes

As much as I love the smell of a real Christmas tree, my apartment unfortunately just does not have the space. If you’re like me and still want to decorate, but your home is on the smaller side, don’t fear! Not only are these ten alternative Christmas trees rad, but they’re pretty painless to make. And probably best of all, you won’t have to worry about stepping on or cleaning up any fallen pine needles, which is not a bad compromise my friends.
