Make these colorful Instagram ornaments for your tree in less than one hour!I used Americana Decor Maxx Gloss paint (you can find at Michael’s, Home Depot, Joann’s, and Meijers). Because it applies so smoothly, you really only need one coat.

Peel the tape and let dry again.  On the back, apply a thin layer of tacky glue all the way around the frame and place on your photo. Let glue dry overnight.

With an X-Acto knife, trim the excess photo. To attach a hook, cut about 5 inches of cord, loop, and then secure with a dap of hot glue. Once completely dry, your ornaments are ready to hang!

New Head Shots + Interview with Portraits to the People

photo by portraits to the peopleIf you can think all the way back to January when I shared my goals for the year, you might remember that one of them was to get in front of the camera more. It’s not necessarily something I feel comfortable with, but something I think is important as a blogger to do.

Up until now, I’ve taken my head shots myself with a tripod or with the help of my ever so patience boyfriend. Sometimes you have to work with what you have, right?
