Annnnd I’m back! What a whirlwind this past week has been. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw that I spent last week in New York City. After walking about a bazillion miles, exploring different neighborhoods, karaoke bar hopping, catching up with friends, family, and Better Homes and Garden, I can say that I had one hell of a trip.Â
I never like traveling with my digital camera, so here are a few snapshots I took with my phone!

I’ve always been drawn to the structure of the Brooklyn Bridge, so I walked across it while I was there. Let me tell you, the view of the city is amazing!

My parents and I took the ferry out to the Statue of Liberty. Insider tip that I picked up from a cab driver: the Staten Island ferry also goes right past the Statue of Liberty and is free!

Yes, it’s true. This really does exist. And I went twice. Worth it!

There’s so much art in the city, both in and out of museums, that I felt constantly inspired to make. The photo above was taken on the street in Little Italy, while the photo below was taken in the MoMA.

After spending all day in workshops, we wrapped up the Better Homes and Garden StyleMaker event with rooftop cocktails. I’m beyond happy that I was able to spend some time with other bloggers that I’ve been following for so long.  Be sure to check out Chelsey’s, Melissa’s, Sarah’s, Jeran’s and Carrie’s blog for amazing content!
Until next time, New York <3
