If you never think about pink as a neutral, I hope that this month’s color crush Millennial Pink, will change your mind! It’s the perfect blush pink that after years of being trendy, still hasn’t gone away. And for very good reasons. Here’s a bit more about the popular color and ways you can bring it into your home:
Color: Millennial Pink
Pair it With: The better question is, is there a color this DOESN’T pair with? And if you ask me, nope! It really does work as a neutral. I don’t think I’ve ever met an application of millennial pink that I didn’t love, which says a lot for a color. Not only does it pair well with other pastels, you can also take this color as bold as you’d like. Its warm undertones and softness make it a very forgiving color, both in pairings and on the eyes in large quantities. A gold brass with millennial pink is a fail-proof combo.
Why it’s Crush-Worthy: not only is it a versatile color when it comes to pairing with others, but you can really use as much or as little as you’d like and it would still work. Again, I can’t rave about this color enough. If you were just starting out on bringing color into your home, start with millennial pink. You’ll be surprised how easy and adaptable it is.
How to Bring it Home: I say go big! Paint a wall or buy a large piece of furniture! Where you might typically go towards a grey or your safety color, swap it out for millennial pink. If new furniture isn’t in the budget, change your bedding. This will give a high impact change but be more on budget. I also did a post where I dyed my sheets this color and that was such a fun, unexpected surprise. Not to mention, it was a color I brought into my home 4 years ago and I’ve never looked back.
Still in need more convincing? I wrote a more in-depth post on how you can ease your way into bringing it into your home decor (full post here)!
