Happy Wednesday! I am back with another Pinned It, Made It, Loved It today and let me tell you, it’s a good one. When I came across this diy ring cone tutorial by Cupcakes & Cashmere I was instantly blown away. It was such a simple idea, but the end result was so beautiful. I decided to give it a try for myself, here’s what I thought:
Honestly folks I don’t know if it gets any easier than this when it comes to crafting! All you do it paint the end of a cone. I decided to make mine a bit more playful with a pattern (just dashes I drew on with a Sharpie). And just like that, you’re done. I found Etsy store that sells the cones instead of going with the link in the original blog post (5 cost me $7.00), which makes this one cheap craft project and gift idea.
On an everyday use, it’s a bit too small for all my jewelry, but great for displaying my favorite pieces. I think this is the perfect diy to make for your friend who was recently/is getting married. Also, how fun would it be to host a craft night with all your girlfriends to make these?!
The possibilities are endless with the design, so if you end up doing this project yourself, I’d love to hear how you did it!
