I know, I know, a Christmas DIY before Thanksgiving is even here. Well.. I waited as long as I could! Plus I know many of your will be decorating the day after you feast, so I thought I’d share an idea in case you’re looking to do a little crafting over the holiday! This ornament diy takes about ten minutes and can be customized for any style or personality type. Easy peasy all the way here friends. Here’s how:
Time: 10 minutes
Materials: temporary tattoos, decoupage, brush, sponge, ornament
I used these temporary tattoos, but if you can’t find ones you like, you can always make your own! I found the white bulbs at Michaels for about two bucks each.
How to Make a Temporary Tattoo Ornament
Trim your tattoo to size and then peel the plastic layer off the front. Position on your ornament and wet the back with a sponge for about 30 seconds. Be sure to hold your tattoo as still a possible to not smudge the design. Peel paper off and let your tattoo dry on the surface.
If you don’t like the way it came out, you can remove with rubbing alcohol. But, if you did it right, seal with a thin layer of decoupage and let dry! Super easy, right? And with so many temporary tattoo options, you could make these for anyone in your family!
