Time: 1 hour
Materials: polymer clay, sculpting tool/roller, stamps, wax paper
project inspired by Wit & Whistle
Start by measuring out your clay and rolling into balls. I used about 3/4 of the 1oz block for each color.
On wax paper, use your rolling pin to flatten each clay ball, keeping the same thickness throughout.
Stamp the name of your herb on to your flattened clay, then shape with a sculpting tool/knife. I found it easier to stamp first so that in case of an error, I could just roll out the letters and start again.
Transfer your markers to a cooking sheet and bake according to the instructions for your clay. It only took mine 15 minutes at 275°. Let cool, stick in the soil of your potted herbs, and you’re done!
