The end of the year is my favorite time of year for hosting parties and entertaining (not that I ever need a reason to throw a party). Maybe it’s the decor, or the abundance of champagne, but holiday parties get me every time. If you want to give your serving gear a golden makeover, but don’t want to commit to it year round, then this easy and removable tutorial is for you! Here’s how:
Time: 30 minutes
Materials: contact paper, circle punch, scissors
I decided to go with gold contact paper because A. you can never go wrong with gold and B. because it matches my Chambord bottle perfectly. Ultimately I think the more gold the better, but you can pick any pattern of contact paper you want.
Cut out a section of contact paper and punch your holes. I found it easiest to get a clean hole when you punch with the back paper side up. Peel the paper off your dots and apply to your pitcher. Fill with your favorite drink and you’re ready for the party to begin!
Once you’re ready to have your pitcher back to basic, just peel off the dots and wash. Easy as that!
And for the perfect drink for any get-together, add 1/4 oz Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur to a glass of campaign. Garish with a raspberry and serve!
