Paint your canvas if you want a color other than white to peak behind the paint splatters.
Arrange your letters on the canvas before placing. For anyone who is curious, I used the last line of one of my favorite poems by Max Ehrmann found here. If you need help with the paint splattering technique, watch this quick video.
Stick on your letters and start splattering your colors!
Cover the letters completely with paint.
Peel letters while paint is still wet, but leave flat until 100% dry. If you move the canvas upright before it’s dry, your paint splatters with move and smear.
